Good news!

We are delighted to confirm that structural assessments that have kept the carillon and clock chimes out of action are now complete!

The hour and quarter hour chimes have already been re-connected and normal carillon recitals will commence on Saturday 19 September 2020. Charlotte will play at 12 noon and 3:00 pm. Likewise Charlotte will play on Saturdays 26 September and 03 October 2020.

Trevor will resume his regular playing routines on Saturday 10 October 2020.

Hopefully the carillon will not suffer any further playing interruptions until the first quarter of 2022 when essential maintenance works are being planned. Confirmation of dates and further information will be published in due course.
