Postponement of Guest Recital - Saturday 25 June 2022

The Bournville Carillon Events Calendar for 2022 indicates a Guest recital on Saturday 25 June 2022 by Scott Orr. Unfortunately in consequence of the National Rail Strike, Scott will be unable to travel to Bournville and therefore Trevor Workman will be playing at 12 noon and 3:00 pm.

At 12 noon, the programme will consist of classical compositions for the carillon which show the instruments full potential. The 3:00pm programme will comprise familiar music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart demonstrating how the carillon is adaptable to play classical music composed for other more conventional instruments.

Hopefully arrangements will be made for Scott Orr to perform later in the year and further details will be published on this website and on Social Media in due course. Details will also be available from the Carillon Visitor Centre together with the Events Calendar for 2022.
